Physiotherapy

Patients in Perth can get the treatment they need in the comfort and safety – as they say – of their own homes!

Physiotherapy to Your Perth Door

If you are a regular user of physiotherapy services, you’ll know that it’s a broad field, with many specialities.

And you may think that to get the care you need it’s necessary to visit a rehab physio clinic with many practitioners, despite the fact that simply travelling to your physiotherapist may risk aggravating the condition for which you need treatment.

Well, that used to be true, but not any more.

With On The Go Rehab, physiotherapy patients in Perth can get the treatment they need in the comfort and safety – as they say – of their own homes!

About On The Go’s Physiotherapy

On The Go Rehab has a team of mobile rehab physiotherapists who are all trained in the broad range of remedial fields. Importantly, though, each has his or her own special field of interest. So we can confidently offer to treat the widest possible range of disorders, including, but not limited to:

Musculoskeletal Injuries/Orthopaedic

Whether traumatic, or the result of recovery from surgery (e.g. Total Hip or Knee Replacement), we can treat these using manipulation, guided exercise routines and, where appropriate, the latest electrotherapy techniques.

Cardiorespiratory

We have mobile physiotherapists skilled in treating and managing a wide range of disorders such as emphysema, asthma and chronic bronchitis.

Many of these conditions require a protracted series of visits. We’ll be happy to discuss a program of at home physio treatment that suits your schedule and your budget.

Disability

Our Physiotherapists work closely with individuals to create customised care plans that enhance mobility, independence, and overall well-being.

We’re committed to empowering and supporting those with disabilities on their unique journey.

Neurological Disorders

Neurological disorders such as stroke and traumatic neural lesions require the attention of a skilled physiotherapist to assist the slow process of repairing the neural pathways that have been disrupted.

Our team includes physiotherapists who have these skills, and who will arrange a program of visits to provide physio treatment at home.

  • What should I expect during my treatment sessions?

On The Go Rehabilitation Services provides a professional, trustworthy and friendly service. At the beginning of treatment your therapist (physiotherapist, speech pathologist, podiatrist, dietitian, exercise physiologist) will compile a full history and complete a thorough assessment. They will then discuss their findings and will develop a treatment/rehabilitation plan tailored to your needs.

Your treatment will commence immediately and the number of treatment sessions required will depend on the severity of the condition. If you are experiencing financial difficulties then the therapist will work within these boundaries.

Your therapist will use a variety of treatment modalities depending on their speciality. Physiotherapists may use joint mobilisation, massage, exercise and/or electrotherapy (TEN’s, Ultrasound).

  • Do I need a referral from a Doctor?

If you are a private patient you will not need a referral. However, if you are on worker’s compensation, have a motor vehicle claim or on veteran’s affairs (DVA), you will require a referral. Speak to one of our staff for more information.

On The Go Rehab is NDIS and Better Start approved.

  • Will my private health insurance cover Physiotherapy?

This depends on your level of cover and extras. Contact your health insurer for more information.
